HOUSING
Personal assessment
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: With a family
Why? I would like to experience the true Italian family life style within their environment.
Personal comments:
This has been, by far, the best experience of my life. The whole idea of living in such a beautiful country and an amazing city made me realize how much the world has to offer. I have come to appreciate art, literature, and the culture. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

STUDENT LIFE
Personal social experience
Describe host city: Students interact with the local community without much university involvement
Nightlife, Travel: Takes place mostly outside the university/student environment Activities: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment Personal comments:
There are so many to mention; I not really sure where to start. Nag Heads was a fun crowd. There are cafes at every corner with out going people with tons of energy. Italy is filled with friendly people. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

My academic experiences
Course recommendations:
Not really. They do recommend learning the language a bit before arriving to the Rome Campus. I actually agree with that because it gives the experience a totally different touch because then the student can fit into the culture without many problems, even though the Romans were nice enough to learn english and prefered to speak english.
My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
If resources were available easier, then projects and essays won't be so difficult to research for. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Language difficulties
Language of instruction: Italian
Was learning Italian a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my Italian How much did you improve your Italian?
My level before: At ease in most situations My level after: No problems in any areas (including slang) Personal comments:
Since I am so interested in the Italian culture, I wanted to make sure I would learn as much as I could living in Rome. I wanted to learn all the slang and common pharses to fit as a native. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

EXPENSES
The accessibility of student needs
Main source of funding:
Family Other sources of funding:
None Work opportunities:
I didn't explore any work options Personal spending habits:
I lived at home at my home university; therefore; I would eat at home, call from home, and live at home without paying rent. I also didn't travel to different countries every weekend. It was worth every penny. Travel, Nightlife, Overall, Housing: was more expensive than at home. Food: was the same price as at home. Telephone: was less expensive than at home.

Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
I wish I knew how amazing this was going to be. I found my best friend; she ended up being my roommate. I didn't realize six months would change my life forever...for the best! In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
I recommend Loyola Unversity Rome Center because the location is perfect to see the beautiful city of Rome. The people of Italy are friendly and easy going. The whole experience will blow you away. FINAL COMMENTS
Take every opportunity you get to explore the world and other cultures. You will be remained in shock because these experiences can not be read in books. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
