Some people speak a dialect (Bavarian), so it is really hard to understand. On the other hand you can comunicate in English in several situations as well, so it is easier.

I think it is a good university for economics, I think it is the second one in Germany, but students try hard, very hard, and sometimes it is difficult to pass the exams, they don't make many concessions with erasmus students.

I went to Berlin, Innsburg, Salzburg, Prague, there are a lot of pretty close places to go!
Students Hostals are very cheap and most of them are nice and clean.

The university used to organize an international meeting for erasmus students every thursday, called MENSA, there I met almost all my friends there. The night life in Munich is quite good, although expensive, there are lots of nice cafes in Giselastrasse and Turkenstrasse.
And the night spots, there are very famous discos, like Park Cafe, P1, etc, and a big big area with just only Clubs, called Ostbahnhof, some of them are: Milch bar, Rot Hause, Torero,...
