If you are here only for one semester, try to choose the first one because the first two weeks (start mid-august) are integration weeks (Nolleperioden) and they are the best way to have fun and to meet other people! For the nightlife, Kåren (the university's nightclub) is not bad but you better take a cab to go downtown at Cleo (open all the year) or Grace (open only during summer). The university provides you all the informations you need. Anyway , Karenhouse is the disco inside the university , with special prices for students. Downtown there are some nice pubs and discos.
