Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Home university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? London is one of the most beautiful cities I have been to. I would chose an apartment or house because it would allow me the opportunity to really live inside the British culture. Life on campus keeps you slightly sheltered
Personal comments:
The accommdations where rather good actually. I was given my own room which had plenty of space. Also in my building there were only about 30 people which really made it easier for us to establish deeper friendships. The facilities were also quite accommodating. Though, the location was a little risky after sundown. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? I would have liked to be closer to Central London, so an apartment would probably be the best choice.
Personal comments:
The University was very old and historic. The campus was very beautiful but the dorms could have been better. I think coming from the U.S. we expect "state of the art" accommodations, and when we have to stay in a place other than that we get discoraged. Overall, the university was very accommodating to the exchange students. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Why? The dorms were good but the location was horrible. they warned us not to walk alone off campus and it just really freaked me out. Otherwise you were close to the school

They cleaned our rooms daily and made our beds during the week, it was rather good. I just thought the rooms were ugly. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? No fire drills at stupid o'clock, no hassle with the accomodation office staff!
Personal comments:
The facilities can't be described other than atrocious. In my apartment, the bathroom was something of a disgrace (constantly overflooded due to leaks in plumbing), however, getting it fixed turned out to be a problem and the accomodation office staff was extremely unhelpful!
