Housing
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
The 'campus' is near the NHH, I would prefer to live in the city centre

Personal comments
Accomodation is OK. Not very impressing and old buildings form the 1960s, but you live together with most of the other exchange students. The rooms are pretty small, but you have a private bathroom. Also, you share the kitchen with six other students, it's well equiped and large enough to invite people for a party!

Personal comments
Metro, club situated under the SAS hotel, good ambiance, not-so commercial dance music, and free entrance and lower alcohol prices on wednesday.
Cafe Clue - nice student place, bar/club, thursday night is best, two beers for the price of one.

Languages
Language of instruction: English
Was learning English a key decision factor?
No, it wasn't.
How much did you improve your English?
My level before: At ease in most situations
My level after: No problems in any areas (including slang)
Language difficulties
Administrative / Institutional
Personal comments
In Norway virtually everybody speaks English, even in the supermarkets. Therefore it was not really worth the trouble learning Norwegian, when you don't have that as a target.
The level of Enlish of the teachers was not always very good.
