NJIT is a public, urban research university, committed to the pursuit of excellence in undergraduate, graduate, and continuing professional education and in the conduct of research in such multi-disciplinary fields as environmental preservation, manufacturing, productivity enhancement, infrastructure systems, and communications technologies.
