As the Netherlands is a small country it makes it easier to travel...however, the trains are very expensive. That's why I recommend to buy a 'Korting Kart' which allows to have dscounts! Read Review

Cleanliness
Space
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? That was very intersting to learn from the cultural differences. As a matter of fact, I was sharing my house with students from other countries
Personal comments:
I think the idea to put students from different cultures and backgrounds was a great one. However, I would be a bit critic about the Student Office which took always a long time to make reparations when problems ccured

Paddy O'rian was the best pub I went to. Rock'It and Vat 69 were the greatest discos of Leeuwarden!
