It would be better if the University interacted more with its students and helped us to find an apartment.

I lived in a very bad neighborhood, I would not reccoment to anyone to live in Mission Hill. My roommate got mugged twice, and had his nose broken. We also got robbed, I lost my laptop and other personnal belongings. So try and find a nice neighborhood. All in all, it was a great experience and I would do it again !

I would have waited to turn 21 to study in Boston. I sent my first year without being able to go out as a lot of pubs and clubs check the passport only before letting you go in.

All appliances are available easily, there is a really good internship provider network. I chose this university because they propose the internship program in an American company as credits.

Allston/Brighton are goods neighborhoods for students. I recommend the sharing flat solution. It is very common to live this way and it is great to live with american native person or international students. If you want to travel around, you can go to Cape Cod, Newport, or Rockport. The area is full of fisher villages. It is so cute. There are also great deals to go to New York City with Chinatown bus company and to go to Montreal for memorial day. Watch out!!!

I am pursuing my Masters degree in Construction Management, the department of Civil Engineering is pretty cool. The professors are very knowledgeable and very helpful. Our department conducts happy hour for new students to get informed about the university by their seniors.

Just a thing if you're staying for a long time, you may have troubles around the third month. What I mean about trouble is that you may feel unconfortable in the country, be fed up with everything! Don't worry, it happens to every one, the 3-months cap is always like that, there pretty nothing to do about it!

I transferred here at the start of last semester, and it was one of the best decisions I made. Northeastern University has provided me with a ton of amazing opportunities I wasn't able to get elsewhere, and their engineering program is going to help me get the career of my dreams.

It was, indeed, a wonderful experience. However, I would recommend that anybody willing to study in the United States try to think like an American ASAP. This is a necessary step towards integration.
