It is important to assess the university before you seriosly consider it, and that you can do through the communication process with the university. It has been shown to be a good indicator. If everything is a problem, the mails are not replied within a reasonble time, you have to put in a lot of energy to get basic information, they do not have nechanisms to for example find housing, organize health care, contact with embassis - they probably do not take good care of foreigh studets. HOUSING
Personal assessment
Cost
KEY:
Couldn't have asked for more.
Pretty good.
Could've been better, but didn't lessen the overall experience.
Disappointing.
Facilities
Location
Cleanliness
Space
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why? because of walking distance to school, social life in the dorm, and eventhough quie expencive, it was stil much cheaper than in private accomodation
Personal comments:
The housing is great if considered that is a student dormitory, the building is wery well taken care of, the proximity to the school is important, so I do not have any negative critique here!

ACADEMIC       5.0 / 5
My academic experiences
Quality of courses
KEY:
Fantastic.
Pretty good.
Could've been a bit better.
Disappointing.
Variety of courses
Availability/access to resources
Interaction with teachers
Interaction with other international students
Interaction with local students
Course recommendations:
We had 10 out of 15 mandatory courses, and the 5 electives should be among the one offered for our program, so there is not so much to choose, but the one offered are very interesting and relevant for the course. Still, there are some electives offered for all master students, but it is quite reasonable to follow the program instead of wondering of since it is a specialization.

My opinion of the university assessment
Exams at end of course
KEY:
Liked it.
It was alright.
A bit annoying.
Didn't like it.
Exams throughout the course
Essays and/or projects at the end of course.
Essays and/or projects throughout the course

Overall
Language of instruction: English
Local language was: Different than language of instruction.
Was learning English a key decision factor?
No, it wasn't.
Was learning the local language a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my knowledge
How much did you improve your English?
My level before: At ease in most situations
My level after: At ease in most situations
How much did you improve your local language?
My level before: Did not speak it
My level after: Basic phrases
Personal comments:
The language of instructin is Englis, and I would have excepted just Italian as another possible language of instruction. In Norway practically everyone speaks English so I a not handikept by my gnorance of Norwegian. The Norwegian course was offered at school at a reasonable, but it was still too much for my budget. I do regret not having better knowledge of Norwegian language.

It is videly known that Norvegian prices are astronomic so there is a reason. The categories I was spending less are the "luxuries" so there the cuts happen!
Food, Travel, Overall, Housing: was more expensive than at home.
Nightlife, Telephone: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:

OVERALL
Important to choosing this university...
Academic reasons
KEY:
Very Important.
Important.
Not really important.
Unimportant.
Culture
Costs
Activities
Campus life
Party / people
Weather / Location
I wish I had known...
Not really,I informed my self quite well...
In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!

During my experience abroad, I ...
Became familiar with another culture
KEY:
Happened all the time.
Happened quite a lot.
Happened a bit.
Didn't happen.
Traveled
Improved language skills
Met people from other countries
Became more independent
Partied a lot
Experienced a change in life
Advanced my studies/career
Personal recommendation:
I think the university itself is good, but the culture and the country itself brings a lot to the product and experience of the university. Beside the study program which had to be very near my expectations and ides (and it is!), everything is offered here, you just have to enjoy it, study, not worry how to aquire the basing studying resources... You can choose and organize your self beautifully, and in that the university makes an important role.
