It was very difficult getting a job because I did not speak the local language. It was very surprising that even for cleaning jobs I was told wherever i went that I needed to speak danish to be able to get a job.I only had to learn not to spend beyond my means. Shop fron Aldi amd Netto who things are much cheaper.

It was pretty difficult in the beginning been in a society whose language U did not speak. Almost everyone here does speak english but it did get pretty irritating sometimes when as U spoke english the person spoke danish not because she cannot speak english but does not want to.

Housing
Type of housing: kollegium
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: kollegium
Why?
It takes about 40 mins by bus to the university and I would prefer somewhere closer.

The university does give you directions and forms to apply for accomodation and whatever happens is between you and the accomodation office which is independent of the university.
