food is pretty cheap in germany, handy is very expensive, but hometelephone is the same I would say, night life pretty much the same, depends on how often and which clubs u go :), I travel more than before

Personal recommendation

University is really good, especially international studies. The classes were not overcrowded and you got the chance to attend the seminar and know professor better. And also library is very good and easy to find what you need.
