As a finance marketing student I felt that Investments 1 with Prof Murtugh was a very good course. He is a exellent professor and the course is educational and real life related.

Personal comments:
I would try to coordinate the courses alittle bit better, specially with the projects. I felt like all the projects were due on the same date. This could have been better if only the professors communicated little bit more than they seem to do.

New ventures is a very good course. It deals with entrepreneurship from a practical perspective; it completely exists of Harvard business cases. Furthermore, the professor is a very experienced and successful entrepreneur

They should be somewhat harder on students concerning grading. Almost nobody fails a course. If you are really bad you get a D

The academic approach is far more practical than at European Universities. After all, the undergraduate can be compared with a bachelor in Europe. Take this into account.

Especially the courses in the field of Entrepeneurship are really good. RPI is one of the leading universities in this field.
