There are a lot of bars in Troy, but many have a bad reputation. Most RPI students went to 'the Ruck', which was a nice spacy bar. If your in the mood to go to a real club, you need to go to Albany, since there are no real clubs in Troy. Furthermore, you should go to some fraternity parties to experience the real american college life. Finally, if you are in the States with spring break, you need to go to either Mexico or Florida; it's quite an experience! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

The Ruck is the best place to go in Troy. The staff is really nice and the drinks are strong!!! However, I would say the best place to go if you want to have real fun is Albany. The closest and best places to go would be in Albany for a night life. However if you seriously want to party, then seriously consider Boston. There are a few good bars though in downtown Troy. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Icehockey is really big and a lot of fun. Night life could be better when thinking of the bar, but a lot of students went out which made it fun anyways. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
