The local language was a bit of a challange that would be won. The course is to be delivered in english but a lot of the hand outs were in the local language(german). This motivated you to learn the language faster.

i hadn't spoken almost any german in the school, so it was hard in the beginning. But every day it got better, very useful was a 6-week Erasmus language course in Sept./Oct.

In Germany, everybody knows English. Even i knew a little bit German, i could communicate with people eaisly in German and English, there was no problem about language.

Never felt the difference but most times felt the need to learn to make life more happy and enjoyable, as communication is all what another human expects

Most of the student speak english and teacher too...so if I had some dificulty there were people to help me.
