HOUSING

International Relations, University Agreement
Personal assessment
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why? The dorms were being renovated and newer ones looked great.
Personal comments:
It was typical college dorm living, but in Russia. It is not America and they have a different set of rules. Some students couldn't figure this out. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

HOUSING
by Nenad, European Business School London, London, United Kingdom
Business Studies, Erasmus
Personal assessment
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? The best option when living in Russia. On-campus accommodation is very cheap, but rooms are too small and there is no privacy. Other ways of accommodation are impossible in Russia.
Personal comments:
The university helps in finding a flat, although there is always a cheaper solution when you do it on your own. Flats in Russia are very bad, very old, there are no gadgets, bathrooms are unusable! Although, when ready to pay high price, modern flats can be easily obtained. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Personal assessment
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? More privacy and space for your own. Dormitory rooms were always for two people.
Personal comments:
One has to get used to the dormitory systems. Doors are closed over night and there's no in and out, except you have a deal with the guards. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Personal assessment
Type of housing: With a family
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? independence, very compromising living with a family...a little difficult at times. I might live in a family if I knew them well beforehand and felt comfortable with their lifestyle.
Personal comments:
We didnt really get any advice or help. The university offered us a place to stay that was 4 times the usual price and not very conducive to people of our age ie: living with an old widow This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
