HOUSING
Personal assessment
Type of housing: A big building with hundreds of rooms
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: A big building with hundreds of rooms
Why? We were living in that old building with all other Erasmusstudents, so we got to know them very well. It was good craic, even if it was an old building with not that much facilities. No showers, an old kitchen, but there was a washing machine you could use for free.
Personal comments:

STUDENT LIFE
Personal social experience
Describe host city: Students interact with the local community without much university involvement
Activities: Takes place mostly within the university/student environment Travel: Takes place mostly outside the university/student environment Nightlife: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment Personal comments:
The Bot and the Egg where good disco's. Robinsons was a very good pub in the city centre. For Saint Patrick's Day, it isn't really that big in Belfast, you'd better go to Dublin. But you have to book a room way in advance! And it is quite expensive over there, you'd better know people living over there... My academic experiences
Course recommendations:
You don't have to arrange it yourself, you can do it with the help of your tutor. You better pick out some courses and go to your tutor. He will arrange contacts for you. But it takes some time...
My opinion of the university assessment

They arranged everything pretty good. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Language difficulties
Language of instruction: English
Was learning English a key decision factor?
No, it wasn't. How much did you improve your English?
My level before: Everyday knowledge (shopping, directions, etc.) My level after: No problems in any areas (including slang) Personal comments:
It improved very well. In the beginning it's rather hard to understand the accent, but it'll be better after a few weeks, especially after a period of teaching practice. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

EXPENSES
The accessibility of student needs
Main source of funding:
Family Other sources of funding:
Family Personal savings Work opportunities:
I didn't explore any work options Personal spending habits:
It hust was more expensive over there. Everything except books were much more expensive than in Belgium. Food, Travel, Nightlife, Overall, Telephone: was more expensive than at home. Housing: was the same price as at home.
Personal comments:
You'd better take quite a bit of cash out of a dispenser. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
