In Södermalm you can find a great atmosphere, nice places and shops, cool pubs. Nowadays it is a very trendy area of Stockholm. Do not miss Mosebacke, it has a theatre, several pubs, and a great terrace with a fantastic view. Very Bohemian.

Housing
Type of housing: I lived with some relatives of mine
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
It's really difficult to find an appartment/room if you are not swedish or if you don't know anyone there. But one year there you get to know people.

Final comments
Everybody talked about the cruises to Helsinki or Tallin, etc. I couldn't go for personal reasons, but the next time I go to Stockholm you can bet I'm taking one of those trips!
