I was not one hundred per cent certain what kind of housing I would be getting when I booked a room on campus in Dresden in advance, but was in the end pleasantly surprised at the quality of housing. The most pleasant surprise was certainly free-of-charge LAN-Internet in my room.

Because my DAAD scholarship made it possible for me to afford all these expenses; the standard of life is also significantly higher in Germany than in Croatia, and so are the prices - of food, housing, etc.
