On the notice board of Jyske Musikkonservatoriet (in Fuglesangs Allé, close to ASB) you find plenty of invitation to concerts free of charge. You can also try gospel choir every Tuesday at 17 or 19:30 in church in Norre Allé (check www.gospelnet.dk). At Waxies there is a pub quiz every Wednesday evening.

If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why?

Itīs great that you always get a room and donīt have to care about anything. Further, you get to know some Danes (your floormates).

Academic
Course recommendations
Business and Management Communication is great. International Trade Law looks also good. Donīt take Intercultural Communication with John Bulman May - the lectures are not at all about what you would expect, he just writes words like "binary" and "postmodernism" on the blackboard. International Organizations and Markets is quite boring.

Everybody speaks English in Denmark, including retired and homeless. Your floormates of course use English when they talk to you, but otherwise they prefer Danish (of course), so you might feel little bit marginalized sometimes.

You should start from the beginning to make friends with your floormates, organise trips and activities with fellow students etc., because itīs up to YOU.

Final comments
Check the website of International Student Centre (www.iscaarhus.dk) for programme for your free time. There is Rosenholm Slot (castle) about 20 km north from Aarhus and Skanderborg (cosy town with three lakes) about 25 km.

Personal comments
buy a bike (there is a police auction every first Wednesday in the month) - although you might not believe it, it is possible to ride it even in winter. Bus tickets are quite expensive. Food is OK if you shop in Netto, Aldi. Bars, cafés etc. are very expensive.
