The opportunity to learn the Danish language was a challenge which contributed to my decision to study in Denmark. Going to a Danish church, attending a language course, and interacting with Danes helped my communication skills.

Having a Eurorail pass is almost a must if you will be traveling. Also, the transportation system in Denmark is wonderful.

Housing
Type of housing: Kollegium--each has own room in hall/share kitchen
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: kollegium
Why?
It's a great cultural experience to live with other Danish and international students. While I had my own room and and restroom, 14 of us shared a kitchen. It is an ideal environment to learn everyday Danish language and customs.

The Aarhus School of Business in Denmark had a wonderful international exchange program. The International counselors planned numerous events for the students which enhanced our cultural experience. Special tours and classes were offered to the international exchange students.
