Description:
Trinity College, the single constituent college of the University of Dublin, was founded by Queen Elizabeth I in 1592, and thus celebrated its Quatercentenary in 1992. It is the oldest university in Ireland and one of the older universities of Western Europe.

If you're the full year student, they try to provide you the place on campus. otherwise, if you visit TCD only for 1-2 terms, you have to search for accomodation yourself, because there is no room This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Why? I would like to start a career and support myself for and extended period of time.
Personal comments:
The University was beautiful. The architecture was so detailed and our surroundings were surreal. My experience as a student and an independent traveler were hiehgtened due the location and the historical significance of Trinity University. With the Book of Kells exhibition being on campus and the campus being in a prime location of Dublin, a perfect mix of adventure and education was at our fingertips. Why? TCD only offers a couple of rooms on campus, but it's located in the city centre and, at least compared to private arrangements, qstill quite cheap

It was a wonderful experience, for people that I could meet even also because I could improve my knowledge in the Irish culture and on his masterpiece such as J.Joyce! Why? I loved living in the house with my roommates, but to live on campus would be another experience, and I think I would get to interact with more non-study abroad students.

Why? Accomodation in houses or apartements gives a better sense of 'real life' and local community life in the host country - chance to have flatmates and neighboors that have different professional, academic and cultural backgrdounds - and demands more maturity and independence from the student
