It is a nice city with a lot of people who will appreciate your stay. If you are there use the chance to go to other places like Russia, Stockholm and Tallin. When will you have the chance to go there again. Don't take the studies to serious, you will miss all the fun.

I was surprised by the wide use of English in trhe whole country. I was happy that the University offered so many courses in English, at such a high level. I had no problems with communication.

Everything was expensive. Best idea of cost saving is the contact with tutors. This applies especially for alcohol. Cheapest at student parties (otherwise very expensive)

I would recommend a place called 57. It played the music I like. Other places I liked were Prima and Blanko. A very good restaurant I would go to is Torre. But there are a lot of places you should try out.
