whats so great is you have so much time off from class. you take typically one or two classes at a time, have plenty of time to study and with isep program get a 400 us dollar stipend which is plenty adequate for high living, travel, and even paid for extended travel in the summer. The beer is bad beer and soo expensive, but the people that i encountered made the place and in the end that mattered the most. Kuumpin Pykka has the cheapest beer but a rough crowd. Night life is straight out of the dance eighties clubs and takes a while to except.

Housing
Type of housing: apt. for summer
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
because it was a great location- half in between campus and down town, dish washer and washing machine. Nicest apt. that I have ever lived in.

No, it wasn't.

Personal comments
i tried to learn a moderate amount of finnish and ended up learning a few phrases. this is partly my fault and partly fault of bad finnish teacher and all students want to practice their english.

Course recommendations
the environmental program is awesome although not well organized but plenty of great opportunities that come your way. by the way- you learn alot, but dont have homework- not much anyway. it was like a vacation but not slack.
