Every thursday in the student center you could go to a special concert, students of the music school playing instruments and singing. It was really brilliant. If do you prefer to drink a pint of beer with your friends you could go to the "ambrog" or "costigans", in the city center. In Washington Street,I can not remember its name, there was a warm coffee place, ideal to relax with your friends looking the River. Finally, you never must miss seeing the cathedral, the university building, the gardens, the bridges. In summary, you will enjoy walking the Cork streets.

Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
Because I have already lived in an apartment and I enjoyed it. Nowadays I am not a student so I would rather stay away from the campus. I would only take into account the other options if one apartment were impossible to get it.

In the first days I was crazy. The Irish accent was really difficult to me because I always studied english accent. But I was lucky because of the fact that irish people are very polite and they try to explain everything till you understand it.
