LL Bar de Copas near Chueca. Best cafe is Mama Ines on Hortaleza. The Crystal Palace in Retiro is not to be missed. The Palace Gardens are worth the walk.

Final comments
Be prepared for a culture shock. The system and the people are very, very laid back. They also tend to stick within there own groups so the Ersmus Association is recommended.

In London, which is one of the most expensive cities in the world, things like food, drinking amd travel cost qutie a bit and continue to rise. The pound is very strong and exchanges for a decent amount in the host country.
