Living in a city means the cost of going out etc is going to be higher. Ringing home costs a lot more! I travelled most of Spain in the year so that was a big expense. Spain is generally very much cheaper than England but the volume of things adds up. Travel, Nightlife, Overall, Telephone, Housing: was more expensive than at home. Food: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
Cost-saving tip...open a bank account in the host country and transaction costs are very much reduced. An 'abono' for transport is also very handy. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Personal comments:
Don´t stay at students residence, cook your own food, don´t buy several things because at your return it is hard to carry with to many extra items or trying to sell them, prepare a budget and try to add at it. Tyr to make as much friends as you can, sometimes they can invite you or help you in almost everything. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
