Because I entered the country having very little spanish skills, I was very happy to see such a big improvement by the end. Communication was difficult for me, but I found the Spanish citizens to be very helpful and kind.

Final comments
I enjoyed my experience abroad. My advice is to keep an open mind and make friends with students your age. They will really take care of you over there...especially those living there who are also not native to the country.

The couple I lived with were very hospitable and we became good friends. They provided a great home away from home for me. I still keep in contact with them and could not have asked for a better arrangement.
