Final comments
If you're using public transport (metro and buses) get a monthly pass - you'll save a fortune. Keep your eye on uni noticeboards for upcoming events and possible language exchanges - a great way to meet local people.

Personal comments
It wasn't easy but teachers and local students were happy to help and were patient when I was struggling! Don't make the mistake of spening too much time speaking your native language though - I saw a few people go home having not learned much Spanish!

Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
The opportunity to live with Spanish people of a similar age and/or with similar interests whilst still having the independence to do things I want (more difficult when living with a family)
