The weather in Madrid could get really freezing in February and March even till early April. So bring some warm clothes with you.

Final comments
I did not expect my Spanish exchange would have been such a fruitful and enjoyable experience to me.
Segovia, Toledo and El Escorial are the three most famous historic towns near Madrid with stupendous views and monuments.
Also the mountains to the north of Madrid are not to be missed if you wish to appreciate the real beauties of nature!
