Traveling from Madrid is easy, because its in the center of Spain; Toledo, Segovia, Chinchon, Aranjuez, El Escorial, Alcala are musts..but its nice to go to Portugal as well. Always remember to be open to anything that might come your way!! Read Review

Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? Because I can be more independent, have my routine as I want it. Also to have a little peace sometimes.
Personal comments:
I dont have an experiance, because I was looking for a place to stay by myself.

Nightlife: Takes place mostly within the university/student environment
Activities, Travel: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment
Personal comments:
There are a lot in Madrid! Half a year is not enough! But for example if you want to try tapas then its Tigre, near the metro station Gran Via. Another nice choice is 100 montaditos, there are a few in town. To go out I suggest the barrio of Chueca, because its very colorful, suprising and great music all around.
