In the beginning everything is a bit weird. The school seems a bit like a high school because of the many tasks you have to do but after a month of 2 you will feel like you have done this allways. When you go on erasmus you HAVE to travel and visit a lot of cities. This is a wonderful chance to discover not only the study where you study but also other cities and cultures Read Review

Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? Because of the interaction between other cultures
Personal comments:
Eventhough you had to look an apartment yourself, there's a list at the university with adresses of great rooms and apartments. So this can help you a lot

Personal comments:
Going out in Madrid is rather expensive. Therefor we went to little pubs or bars, they are a lot cheaper than discos and I find them cosier

OVERALL
Important to choosing this university...
Academic reasons
KEY:
Very Important.
Important.
Not really important.
Unimportant.
Culture
Costs
Activities
Campus life
Party / people
Weather / Location
I wish I had known...
I wish I knew before that you have examens and essays during the year. I'm not justed to that so in the beginning it was hard to adapt that habitat to work every day I bit for school
In my opinion:
Most people loved it.

During my experience abroad, I ...
Became familiar with another culture
KEY:
Happened all the time.
Happened quite a lot.
Happened a bit.
Didn't happen.
Traveled
Improved language skills
Met people from other countries
Became more independent
Partied a lot
Experienced a change in life
Advanced my studies/career
Personal recommendation:
I think they have to talk to their profesores because some of them really don't like erasmus or foreign people. And I'm convinced we earn an equal treatment but they can try to understand that we have a rather hard time because of a new language
