Was learning Spanish a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my Spanish How much did you improve your Spanish?
My level before: Everyday knowledge (shopping, directions, etc.) My level after: At ease in most situations Personal comments:
My Spanish was good before going to Bs As but I wasn't prepared for how different the Spanish spoken in Argentina is from the one spoken in Spain. My first month was very difficult but then it all got easier gradually. I've got no problems communicating now (but I still have to concentrate a lot while listening though!). spanish courses were provided for all foreign students, we were assessed at the beggining and classes were made accordingly. The course was great! I did not encounter any difficulty during my stay, I mostly needed to speak (practise). This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Even though it is always harder to communicate with young people of your age, because of the slang, i did not have many problems to expresse myself. Of course, the best way to progress in the local language is to live in a family and to meet local people. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
