That finding a room, appartment is so easy: so I wouldn´t ahve worried before leaving. In my opinion:
Most people loved it.
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
Pick your courses with care, avoid law courses 8which are spanish-law-oriented courses with very difficult linquistic content). speak good spanish before coming, students who don´t can get in trouble. FINAL COMMENTS
*Prepare for the unbearable summer heat. *Take care before buying mobile phones. *Leave your car in your home country:no parking space and a lot of annoying troubles(especially for french students) . * Go and travel around, it is doable to mix travelling with your studies and the region marvelous!! Not to bring so many "emergency" items...you can find almost anything in Spain that you would need...and that which you can't, you can live without. In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
The teachers were wonderful, but the international study building is detatched from the rest of campus so there is very little opportunity to meet local students at school. FINAL COMMENTS
Open your mind and think outside the box. Don't stick to your fellow travelers just because it's more comfortable. You will miss out on so much if you don't take the time and effort to meet the locals. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

My experience was with Simmons College and it was great. FINAL COMMENTS
I went to Spain as an ESL teacher's assistant and simultaneously finished my Master's in Spanish. I stayed for a year and it was the most memorable year of my life. I recommend that people study abroad for a year because the first semester is all about adapting. By the time you get used to it, it's time to leave. While you are in a different country, watch local TV, read local newspapers and hang around with locals. Sticking with other international students won't enrich your experience. Drink wine, enjoy the food and find yourself. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Go to the University of Cordoba. You will learn a lot. It is an experience you will never forget. FINAL COMMENTS

Practice the language you are supposed to be learning as much as you can. Don't revert to English because it's easier for you to communicate. Try your best to communicate in Spanish even with the Americans. Carry a little notebook with you everywhere so that you can write down new words and/or phrases that you learn. In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
I highly recommend studying Cordoba for a truly genuine study abroad experience without the infiltration of American culture. FINAL COMMENTS
When choosing a city, think thoroughly what you want to gain from the experience. My reason for going to Cordoba, a relatively little known city, was to get away from American students, immerse myself in the Spanish culture, and learn the Spanish language. Cordoba could not have been a better choice and my year living there has been the best year of my life! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

I can't say there was any one thing that I wish I would have known. I guess I wish I had brought more of the "right" clothes, but that is not really a critical issue. I went in with an open mind and that was the most important thing. In my opinion:
Most people loved it.
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
I would strongly recommend this university (the PRESHCO program) to anyone! FINAL COMMENTS
Going to another country is something different. You must keep an open mind and be prepared to learn. There will be bad days, but the overall experience is worth all the trouble! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Personal recommendation:
Its a great place to study and not very big. Therefore there is not a huge student community and so there are less foreign students which will force you to speak more of the language. Avoid socialising with foreign people and integrate with the locals as that is the only true way to learn the language and experience the culture FINAL COMMENTS
If you have any doubts about doing it- do NOT!! Its an amazing, life changing experience that everyone should do! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Make sure to travel loads as this is a unique oppurtunity and no matter how hard it is try to get to know more local people then Erasmus students. Intercambio which is exchange of talking english and spanish is a great way to start, also I got to know my closest friend that way.
