Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? The flat we rented with 2 other student was very spacious and very cheap. Moreover it was situated in the old part of the center of Cordoba. The place was precious and I experimented the spanish way of living.
Personal comments:
The university was proposing some adresses of flat or house that could be rented. Though, the number of adress was a bit reduced in comparaison with the number of students. But it was not so difficult to find an accomodation because we could read advertisement everywhere in town, in bus stops, on the walls... Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: With a family
Why? living with a family provides you with a first hand look at the life and culture that you would be unable to get living with other americans or even with spanish students in a dorm type setting.
Personal comments:
living with a family was great! i'd highly recommend it....if for nothing else then the food was so much better then dorm style food. and you are really and totally emmersed in the culture and forced to speak the language. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Why? Living with a family is the best experience one can ask for. If you're looking for an authentic experience, the best thing is to live with a family. There is no better way to see how the "natives" live.
Personal comments:
