It's quite easy to find a place to live in Salamanca because the offer is just huge. You should share a flat with spanish or foreign people since this is the best way to make friends. In the first semester I wasn't so lucky and ended up living with a crazy spanish girl :( I moved then, to this centric flat with awesome flatmates

Unlike some other countries (Including my own), the local language and the instruction language are ALLWAYS the same! This is an excelent advantage. Anyway, being native portuguese is not that hard to learn spanish.

Enjoy the opportunity to travel in Spain (it's not very expensive).. And remember that Salamanca can be very cold in the Winter and extremely hot in summer (It goes from -8 to 38).. Since April, Plaza Mayor becomes PLAYA mayor. Have fun
