Personal comments
I found that the dialect in Sevilla was a little difficult to crack at first, because the people speak so quickly. But I had lived in other foreign language environments before (living/working in Paris) so I didn't find it too disorientating! The spaniards are REALLY friendly and make a great effort in easing any difficulties you may have while trying to communicate with them. This is very rewarding.

Personal recommendation
If you stay on campus for the full academic year (not like the 5 months I completed), you have a much wider range of subjects available to you to study. If I found something for improvement, it's that the computer/internet to student ratio should be increased. Coming from a very well equipped uni in Ireland, Seville's facilities seemed lacking.

Club Catedral on Calle del Rosario is really good for a night out, as is Apandau, near the main uni bulding. Generally though, Sevilla has excellent nightlife and something for everybody.
