Universidad de Sevilla, C/ S. Fernando, 4, 41004 Sevilla, Spain
4.24 / 5 based on 438 reviews.
Description:

HOUSING
Personal assessment
Type of housing: student residence
Arranged by: Home university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? If you are outgoing, get a an apartment. Its a great way to meet Spanish people as well as to avoid the trap of only associating with other foreigners.
Personal comments:
The Maese Rodrigo residence is located about 10km outside of Seville. It is a bit overpriced and isolated, but if you have transportation and want to be very studious you could be well served by it. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

My academic experiences
Course recommendations:
Take courses that interest you, don't worry about courses that directly follow your major. After all, the main point of going abroad is to become fluent and develop your personal goals and interests. In short, experiment and have fun, but at the same time be sure to take the opportunity and experience seriously.
My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
More dedication and particpation by Spanish students. I wouldn't bet on this happening any time soon though, as their system is very different from the elite competition and discpline found at top US universities. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Language difficulties
Language of instruction: Spanish
Was learning Spanish a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my Spanish How much did you improve your Spanish?
My level before: At ease in most situations My level after: No problems in any areas (including slang) Personal comments:
I had studied spanish for years before and was able to adjust to university classes in spanish very quickly. My advice for any serious students is to study spanish as much as possible prior to departure and thus be able to hit the ground running upon arrival.
