that the winters there are very cold (in comparation with the coast) and they don´t have good isolation and heatings in the flats In my opinion:

Personal recommendation:
its a very big university but not very famous. as all spanish universities they dont have much ressources for books and infrastrukture. FINAL COMMENTS
if you hire a car you can see from mountains to the sea and desert, flat countryside verything. much culture is around this area. and near valladoild there are fine bodegas, where you can get very tasteful homemade wine and food - for quite good price you have to take the opportunity and travel around. which classes to chose, signing up for classes was pretty chaotic In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
All in all I'd recomend going there for a study-abroad experience. The administration is chaotic at times. But the people from the office of "relaciones internacionales" are really nice and helpful. The coordinators of each faculty have to be bothered at times until they are willingto help you. Spanish students here are usually nice and helpful. FINAL COMMENTS
-if you plan on going here, there is a preparation week in september for all the international students. Be sure to sign up. -The different faculty offer trips to other cities This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

you should join the language course at the beginning of the semester to get to know people and to do some travelling togehter. if you don`t like the accomodation that the host university has offered you it is no problem to find another one. summarized i loved the semester in spain and i would recommand it to everybody to do it! During the summer Valladolid was like a ghost town. I was surprised by the change when people returned from their summer holidays. In my opinion:
Most people loved it.
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
The university is very traditional in its teaching methods (very little interaction between teachers-students: teachers teach, students learn.) Recieved very little help from the university during our time there. The registration process was more complicated adn less well organised than in the UK and that wasn't only because it was in a foreign language. FINAL COMMENTS
Valladolid isn't necessarily the prettiest of places in Spain but there's a lot going on and a very good nightlife. It's only a couple of hours' by coach/train from Madrid and half that from Salamanca, which has the night life of Valladolid but is a lovely place to visit anyway. Valladolid could also sometimes seem a bit stuffy and traditional but there is a counter-culture. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Ryanair fly directly from London Stansted to Valladolid, cheap and handy. Personal recommendation:
It's a good university. I chose Valladolid because I knew I would have the opportunity to teach English here at an academy. If I had chosen another university for the social atmosphere, I most likely wouldn't have had the opportunity to teach. My apartment was fully paid for because I taught and I also received a small stipend of 300 euros/month. FINAL COMMENTS
I would choose another town to live in because the people in Valladolid are not open to people who are not from there. It's extraordinarily difficult to make friends here-my main friends here are from the U.S. as well. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
