A club in the area zone as La zona is going to be fun, places such as Boxes. Plaza de Pillar is beautiful and surrounded in culture within the museums in the area and life within the people. Many beautiful areas off the plaza de independencia.

As a university residence, Pignatelli Halls weren't bad but being a 20 min bus journey from the faculty were I studied was a little bit of a hassle when there were halls next to the faculty that I wasn't informed of and wasn't allowed to transfer to. The facilities seemed ok though I never used them as I used an external gym to met new people and a laundry in town. The food was the worst point with everything very greasy!

Don't go into halls, but find an apartment as housing is surprisingly cheap and so is food shopping.

I travelled all over spain whilst studying in Zaragoza. By bus you are about 3 hours from Barcelona and Madrid, from where you can easily access the whole of Spain. Iberia did deals for 10,000 ptas about €60 to travel anywhere in Spain if you are under 26. Barcelona is a must and so is the south of Spain.
