The university is quite big, but the faculty is very small. I estimate, about 300 students. The onliest problem is, that there are not sufficient computers. One course is about 50 students, and you have good contact to the professor.

I think Bilbao is a great city for going out. You have thousands of bars here, and everybody will find something . I would recomment the Cafe Antchokia. But there you have mor alternative music. Depends on what you like

It depnds what you are interested in. I would recommend recursos humanos, idustrializacion y desarollo and economia mundial. That are the courses that interest me and the professors are quit OK.

I wish I had known...
I would have prefered to live with spanish people, but when I arrived,it was really hard to get a room with SSPanish people. I should had looked earlier for it.

Do not come by car to Bilbao the parking situation is horrible. Try to live with spanish.

Food: it is cheaper here. Telephone: I called several times to Germany Accomodation: In Germany or Holland it is really hard to find a room in an University-city, and I would never had found one fore 28500 Pesetas all costs included. Nightlife: The prices are qite the same as in Holland Travel: It depends where you are going to. Barcelona is expensive, small cities not.

In the beginning it was not easy for me. But the people are very nice and try to help you whereever they can. A good way to acquire the language is doing sports with spanish people, or going out with them. The best way is to live with them.
