I didn't know much before I left, I wasn't even sure I'd have actually got my grant... it was a bit scary like that, but I'm pretty much of an adventurer... In my opinion:
Most people loved it.
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
Try to get the hang of it asap. It's not well organised... FINAL COMMENTS
Travelling and housingis not so cheap, if compared to average portugues income. Still, it's very cheap for most Europeans. On the other hand, it's not really worth working there as pay is ridiculous. Best saving up before going or working in home country in between your stay This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

I had studied abroad before. I think that it is important for all students to approach the experience with an open mind and the attitude that they are going to have fun this year. If they want to learn or improve their language skills it is important to befriend country nationals rather than other students of their same nationality. In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!

Personal recommendation:
I don't recommend it unless you are interested in learning the Portuguese language and have a good handle on the language. FINAL COMMENTS
Portugal is a wonderful place to visit and live. Very relaxing way of life and great things to see and do. Getting to Lisbon is simple and there are a number of train stations with departures to multiple locations in Europe. Well worth a visit or extended stay. It's the perfect place to do a little bit of everything, studying, going to the beach (when it's not raining), working (not really for money, because the salary is quite bad)... This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Personal recommendation:
To be more organised with administration FINAL COMMENTS
I am having a fantastic year. Just make sure that you are always prepared in any situation and make the most of the time. You are there to study, but also have fun. If you study too much, you're never going to have the chance to interact with new people. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Travel around POrtugal as much as possible. Eat the local produce, it is fantastic. Buy a monthly travel pass for whichever type of transport you use regularly. Also buy a young peoples' travel card, the student ISIC card isn't recognised. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
