Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: a shared appartment
Why? It is more social to live with other students. And language improvements if you live with native speakers!
Personal comments:
I chose the accommodation myself. It was VERY hard to find something, but I was pleased when I found an appartment.

Murphy's pub - Excellent! It was my second home. They treat you like family! Very international atmosphere. Also the 'Sham Rock' is very international.
