Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
IT IS JUST LIKE IN THE US, THE LOCAL STUDENTS DO NOT INTERACT WITH FOREIGN STUDENTS. I HAD TO MAKE A LOT OF EFFORTS TO GET TO KNOW FRENCH STUDENTS. In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
IT IS NICE, THE ADMINISTRATION AND THE STUDENT WERE EASYGOING. FINAL COMMENTS
I THINK EVERY STUDENT SHOULD SPEND A SEMESTER OR A YEAR ABROAD. IT WAS VERY ENTERTAINING. I DID NOT FEEL THAT I WAS GOING TO SCHOOL BECAUSE THERE WAS NOT AS MANY TESTS AND QUIZZES AS IN THE US. I WISH I HAD TRAVELED MORE BOTH INSIDE FRANCE AND IN EUROPE. SO BRING A LOT OF MANEY AND HAVE FUN! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Go for it!Rouen is a small beautiful town with many erasmus students(especially in faculty of law), close to Paris(for your week-ends) and in the middle of europe (in order to travel often, cheap and easy). The erasmus atmosphere of "erasmus people-happy people" is all around the place!Don t miss it This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

That is really is important that yo bring all the papers that you are informed to bring...and then some! (i.e. several copies extra and contact the University beforehand to find out what is required.) In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
It is a rather small University and so it is easier to make friend and the sports and clubs are numerous and now (2001) they have a brand new law faculty! FINAL COMMENTS
Always make sure to have several copies of all documents, make sure you travel a bit and experience as much as possible while abroad. Take the opportunity to do some networking. Try to make friends with the LOCALS and make an effort to speak the language! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

That I don't like the French university system - courses are boring in my opinion because you don't discuss but only write and study this by heart. In my opinion:
Most people loved it.
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
If you don't have to do 30 ECTS - enjoy your stay, don't take too many courses and travel as much as you like. If you have to do 30 ECTS - well, try to enjoy it as well ;-) FINAL COMMENTS
Go and visit Paris at any time you can! Fist Sunday every month museums are free! Having a car wouln't be bad especially for trips to the countryside or sea (e.g. Honfleur, Etretat, Deauville, Trouville etc) as public transport isn't that good.
