HOUSING
Personal assessment
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? I learned how to live and cooperate with very different persons (we were four), and off course to rule a house by my own.
Personal comments:
I cannot write much. They seem to try to help students but I had already found an appartment before coming to Milan, as I alredy knew it would be very difficult. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

STUDENT LIFE
Personal social experience
Describe host city: Students equally interact with the local and student community
Activities: Takes place mostly outside the university/student environment Nightlife, Travel: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment Personal comments:
Night spots: Hollywood and Old Fashion.Via Naviglia and the Brera area are also areas with a good night life, full of pubs and cafes. The "Pinacoteca de Brera" (Art Academy)shouldn't be missed. And off course the wonderful Duomo di Milano and the Vitor Emanuel' galleries. Outside the city, not far away, there are several smaller towns that should be visited like Como, Bergamo or Verona This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

My academic experiences
Course recommendations:
Be careful with the Ects system as it varies according the country and the courses you take. But in this college the erasmus coordinators are very helpful.

My level before: Everyday knowledge (shopping, directions, etc.) My level after: At ease in most situations Personal comments:
The university doesn't offer an Italian language course during the semester. But if you check other places you can easly find other universities that offer courses to foreign students (even if they study in another college)or even langages' schools that offer the same courses. Personal savings An ERASMUS grant Work opportunities:

The living standard is higher in Milan than in Lisbon. Everything is more expensive. Food, Travel, Nightlife, Overall, Telephone, Housing: was more expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
The vegetables and the fruit are much cheaper in the weekly markets than in the supermarkets. And the white brand' products are often of good quality. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

OVERALL
Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
Italian culture is more different from the Portuguese than I thought on the first sight. Italians are more closed that I thought they would be. In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
Very good university. I truly recommend it. FINAL COMMENTS
