Well, I wouldn't miss Alexander's Bar, they make the best hot chcolate and have a very cool ambiance. There are a few dance clubs to check out, like Banale or Bourbon Street. Almost at every corner there are cafes and bars you can go to and hang out and most places close late at night. You do know where to go though because nightlife in Padova is not evident but it can be a lot of fun.

I thought the accommodation with a family was a great idea and very organized, they matched our pesonalities with that of the family to ensure that we got along well and got the most out of our living experience.

I relaly liked the fact that all our classes were in Italian and that our teachers spoke no English, thus forcing us to speak in Italian. I had no problems communicating at all, and when I didn't know a word or needed to communicate a particular idea, I went looking for the dictionary!

Personal recommendation
It's a great place because it's so filled of life, so many students. Acaemics in Italy differ a lot from the United States and other places in Europe but if you can get used to it you can get a lot out of your education.
