Main source of funding:
Personal savings
Other sources of funding:
Stafford loan
Work opportunities:
I didn't explore any work options
Personal spending habits:
Food and transportation is cheap. Everything was included in my trip, but occasionally I ate out and took a bus trip to another town.
Telephone: was more expensive than at home.
Nightlife: was the same price as at home.
Food, Travel, Overall, Housing: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
Cost-saving tip # 1: drink lots of coffee (cafe) at the bar, not the tables. Also, food in the restaurants is only slightly more expensive than the mensa, so take advantage and eat out once in a while...the experience is a great value!
