HOUSING
by Megan, San Diego State University, San Diego, United States
Business Studies, USAC Torino Program
Personal assessment
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? a lot of freedom to do what i want and good way to meet other students and learn authentic italian way of life
Personal comments:
USAC Torino program helped find the apartment for me and other roommates -- near SAA school where all classes were held , good size, furnished, decent rent price and internet and come utilities included, not bad becuase you control how much utilities you consume and pay...(heat, light, water) This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Why? I was living in an appartment, in a building full of Erasmus students, which was pretty good, 'cause it was a multicultural environment
Personal comments:
Although when I first arrived in Italy I had to go to some italian friends house, I was able to chance do the Erasmus residence 3 months later which was great. The responsables for the erasmus services there in Turin, were very helpful. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? Ideally I would share an apartment with other students: it's the best way for a foreigner to get integrated.
Personal comments:
Well, I fixed my housing privately. I know that the university co-operates with a residence complex north of the centre for housing the international students, but it's somewhat expensive. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
