HOUSING
Personal assessment
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why? I'd prefer to get more involved in university life
Personal comments:
Other people thought me it was difficult to find a room. I was lucky and I found one just one day after my arrival! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:

Language difficulties
Language of instruction: Italian
Was learning Italian a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my Italian How much did you improve your Italian?
My level before: Everyday knowledge (shopping, directions, etc.) My level after: No problems in any areas (including slang) Personal comments:
I tried not to be in contact always with Spanish people, my friend were mainly Italian people- I learned a lot and had many chances to practise This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

EXPENSES
The accessibility of student needs
Main source of funding:
An ERASMUS grant Other sources of funding:
Family Personal savings Work opportunities:
I worked during my study abroad experience Personal spending habits:
The North of Italy is more expensive than Spain- and I also had expenses that I didn't use to have in Spain, for example travelling. Travel, Nightlife, Overall, Housing: was more expensive than at home. Telephone: was the same price as at home. Food: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
Students can eat at the Mensa, which is really cheap and the food is quite good. If you plan to visit museums, you can buy the Abbonamento Musei: you'll be able to visit about 70 museums in Torino and Piemonte for just 20 Euro. OVERALL
Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
I wish I had known that Torino was such a cold city! In my opinion:
Most people loved it.
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
You should be ready to work much on your own. Teaching is mainly theoretical FINAL COMMENTS
I must say that I preferred life and friends outside the University than in the University. Also, the people from Torino are usually cold towards strangers, in fact most of my friends were another international students or people from Southern Italy.
