Before I began my Erasmus in Fribourg my level of French was high, but after spending a year there my fluidity and surety on French has become better. I also tried to learn German, but i'm not able to say a lot of sentences at the moment.

Final comments
Fribourg it's a great place to travel, because the train station it's very important, and also the situation of the town; you're near to Bern, Lausanne...but it's also easy go to Basel, Zürich, Luzern, Genève...even France or German.

Switzerland is a very expensive country if you have to travel by train; but you have the opportunity to buy a ticket for the whole year that is cheaper: the "VOIE 7".
