Description:
Today the University of Music and Drama "Mozarteum" in Salzburg, like Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791), has a global reputation. The history and development of the "Mozarteum" are closely related to the musical genius of Mozart and the City of Salzburg as a cultural centre. The establishment of this school of music goes back to 1841 when the Salzburg Cathedral's Music Society (Dom-Musik-Verein) founded the Mozarteum to "preserve in honour for all time the memory of Mozart" and to promote the instruction and performance of music.

Personal comments:
The dormatories at the Orff Institute (Frohnburg) were great, but had no capacity to house me, so I ended up in an apartment nearby. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

My academic experiences
Course recommendations:
More choice in elective courses would have been nice.
My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
I thought the system for final exams should be reworked. Our final projects were extremely tedious, long, tiresome, and a waste of time, and THEN they were too harshly judged. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Everything was amazing -- the courses, the experience, etc. except for the final exams which were grueling and hard and a major stress and pain! Other than that, everything was wonderful. I learned much and had a great experience. FINAL COMMENTS
Don't miss Vienna! be sure to get a bike in Salzburg -- it's the only way to travel. Ride your bike down the hellbrunner allee from the castle all the way to Schloss Hellbrun. It's a beautiful ride. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
